[ELN] How to handle RHEL-specific changes when it fails in ELN?

Hello,

My friendly co-maintainers pushed
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/stratisd/c/32d87697075a846f9a3feb9ee66...
that claims that it makes spec compatible with RHEL (ignore parts that they
violate packaging guidelines).

However, it might make it RHEL compatible but for sure not ELN compatible.
Moreover, I am not aware of any announcements that ELN SIG wants to not
have any rust-* packages for RHEL 9.

Any suggestions how to deal with this?
