nv already is, though I might be a bit behind.
If there are significant mach64 changes since the last time Dave Airlie
pushed stuff upstream, it's news to me, but I admit to not watching
mach64 development very closely.

Here's the problem.
The current mesa/DRI package (including the FC6 one) includes full DRI
support for the mach64 chipsets.
However, while considered stable [ 1], the kernel driver part of the
equation has yet to be imported into the mainline kernel tree.
