Same here. I just installed F32 Mate on a ThinkPad E595 and
everything worked out of the box. The only hitch is that the
xorg-x11-drv-amdgpu driver is not installed by default. My kid thinks
it's a great update over the T420.
I've found that ThinkPads, going back to at least the A20, run Fedora
or CentOS quite well.
Self-intro: I'm a progremmer and former sysadmin who's been running
Linux since RH 7.1 (and Solaris, SunOS, and VMS before that). I build
RPMs at work to make life easier for me and the sysadmins. I follow
this list to know what's coming in future Fedora releases.
