That's a pretty talk order.. and would require some particularly well
communicated and agreed on classifications as to what "important"
actually means across the spectrum of package maintainers. Sure we
could all probably agree that a security update for a package was
"important"... but i doubt you'd get agreement on the issue of whether
or not a builddep fix was "important" if the builddep fix was needed
so that a "popular" dependant package in Extras needed builds in the
automated buildsystem.
You make it sound like core package maintainers are shoving out
packages on a whim.
