That's what common sense told me, but I didn't want to hear it, as I was
eager to migrate. I think common sense must prevail; I have too much invested.
ext4 filesystems formatted today should always be
compatible with ext4 code in the future.
That is good to hear. I formatted some non-critical partitions and hope not to
need to do it over again (not that it is a HUGE hassle).
