Hi peter,
https://github.com/brocade/bsn-fc-txptd/
==>the name of the git repositriy Is as per brocade guide lines(bsn is
the domain name).
We will be using the fctxpd name so that the existing repository will work.
I have made the changes and build the package for few distributions.
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/muneendra/fctxpd/build/1027382/
And below is the links for the updated Spec and SRPM
URLSpec
URL:https://github.com/brocade/bsn-fc-txptd/blob/master/SPEC/fctxpd.spec
SRPM
URL:https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/muneendra/fctxpd/epel...
Can I go ahead and import the above srpm file ?
Regards,
Muneendra.

Hi All, An rpm package has been created by name fctxpd.

But my spec file name and the name field in my spec file is fc_txptd.
And my SRPM also has the name with fc_txptd. And I push the SRPM with
fc_txptd because of which fedpkg build is failing.
fedpkg import PATH_TO_SRPM git commit -m "Initial import (#XXXXXX)."
git push fedpkg build
Do I need to create a new SRPM with fctxpd and push the same again to
git.
The names should match. And the name should be the same as the packaged
software. The review should have never passed because the name in the review
bug #1735762 summary does not match the spec file name.
Why didn't you name the package "bsn-fc-txptd" if this is the name the
upstream uses?
Just select one name and use it everywhere.
If you decide for changing the repository name, you will need to update the
review, ask again for creating a new repository, build the package under the
new name, and retire the wrongly name repository.
