There are benefits of labelling? Maybe on big systems with lots of
SCSI devices which get moved around, but I've only ever seen it cause
problems on most of the desktop and laptop machines I've used.
ACK. Especially because only the RH kernel supports labeled
root-devices. With every other kernel you will run into kernel panics
since the 'root=LABEL=/' is not understood.
So the best solution is 'e2label /dev/... ""' after every installation.
