I'm saying that it's Ok for Fedora to abandon compatibility layers if
there are other viable platforms in the Fedora universe that will
support the required software. Fedora is about moving forward, not
dragging behind.
Why does this remind me of Pangloss in Candide? And, I have been rather
forcefully told on this list that Fedora stands alone.
