What 'hardware probing' are you talking about here? We
just load all relevant modules, splitting it up will
probably just cause more complication and slow things
down.
I'm talking about modprobe. I agree, not a bit problem
(~2.5s), but I was wondering if we can start X before it.
I mean, things should work out correctly in face of
hotplug events anyhow, so why don't we delay modprobing
until after we start X, and treat them as hotplug events?
