I guess there are two sides of this:
- the lost features
Can you work together with the new Java maint SIG to have those features
integrated in the nonmodular packages?
Possibly. I will think about this more.
- the lost years
While sad I believe that at a certain point, we need to be able to admit that
the years are lost in order to save ourselves from loosing even more years. This
is a very important aspect in accepting that modularity in Fedora was a failure.
If we don't do this, we'll keep failing.
