I haven't tested the patch there, but I can reproduce the problem
reported there. This bug report is about the seemingly random display
corruption that happens with vi, etc. -- IOW a *much* more annoying
problem than the speed or the black background problem. (And it has a
100% reproducible test case of this -- finally!)
Scroll some upwards, and some lines get missed out?
