Could we just drop syslinux/isolinux and use GRUB there? Other
distributions have done that because of how much of a pain syslinux
is. And it would make the ISO setup a lot less special...

I'm guessing it must be possible for the two GRUBs to co-exist if
other distros produce a single image that can boot UEFI and BIOS. I
don't know the history of why we left it as isolinux for BIOS though.
