Though I certainly would welcome Fedora to switch away from Gnome3 as
default desktop, I do not see much sense in switching to Cinnamon,
because Cinnamon is too similar to Gnome3.
Instead, I'd propose Fedora to switch away from having *any* default
GUI and offer Fedora users an equal choice between all different major
DE Fedora ships (e.g. Gnome3, Cinnamon, MATE, KDE. xfce ...)
That's the only right and correct way forward and then this "default"
*DE dispute can finally be put to rest...
