It does in fact already do this. :-)
Unfortunately I don't know of a good hook for 'now install this package,
prompting the user first', so all it currently does it tell the user the
name of the package they should install.
Anyone know how to make that better?
The system-install-packages tool included in pirut has support now for
just giving package names in addition to local packages. That gives a
pretty easy way to launch "install a package named foo"
