Soon it will be half a year since the breaking change has been
silently introduced.
In the meanwhile, the CMake upstream themselves noticed an email
thread i started on Fedora devel and partly reverted the change.
In the followup discussion it turned out, the %cmake macro we use in
Fedora is fundamentally wrong and should be fixed.
However the CMake maintainer doesn't seem to care at all, nor
participates in upstream discussions.
