pleas from a couple of sagemath users, I have prepared an update for
sagemath 9.5. This will require an update to Singular 4.2.1p3, which
comes with an soname bump.
Sagemath 9.5 has spun the primecount interface out into a separate
package. This means that I need to *add* one package to the set I am
trying to give away so that I can keep claiming that the packages are
in good shape. Is anyone interested in a review swap? I need this
one:
python-primecountpy:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2061570
The updates will be done sometime next week, after that review is complete.
If nobody takes it, I can review.
I was about to ask for a review as well, as I have my own version locally :)
Did not double check if already done, but will need to change L-function to
use the sage spkg as upstream is no longer available. This will also need a
library major downgrade. But only sagemath uses it, so not a major issue.
Optionally, could work on renaming the L-function package to lcalc, to match
what it is being called in the past 6+ years...
Thanks!
