Sendmail question

Hi,
 
I'm trying to run a mail server and it accepts mail from all users when
I'm sending a mail from my outlook. I don't want this. So the question
is how do I get sendmail to verify a user before accepting and sending
an e-mail?

Ask on the correct list. This list is for the development of Fedora
documentation. Try the Fedora-list.

  Just HOW do you get on the Fedora list?
I have submitted my "subscribe" at least eight times
over a two month period and have not received
any news yet.

The same way you got on this list and the rpm list.
For fedora it is: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list

If that does not work then try sending mail to the list administrator 
listed on the above page.

While we're at it: how do you get off it?  I forgot my password and the

Arrgh!  The helper in me is at odds with the topicmaster!!  The former

the page is a line that says:

"To change your subscription (set options like digest and delivery
modes, get a reminder of your password, or unsubscribe from
fedora-list), enter your subscription email address:"

Then a field you can put your email address in, then click Edit
Options.  On the following page, look for "Email My Password To Me".

Once you have that password, return to that page to Unsubscribe.
