problem with live CD on Dell Inspiron 640m

I tried two live CDs, "Fedora 7 Live i686" and "Fedora 7 KDE Live
i686",
both  burned from ISO image.
Booting  from CDROM, the system halted just before starting the kernel.
follows  is what I see from the screen:
"Loading  vmlinuz..........................
 Loading  initrz..........................
 Ready.. 
 Uncompressing kernel image .... Ok,,start the kernel ...."

And then,,,nothing happens.  

My laptop is Dell Inspiron 640m, CPU is Intel T2080,,,
What is wrong with my laptop ? Any one can share his experience or offer
some suggestion ?

I had the same issue with my 630m with an earlier version of the Live 
CD.  Came to the conclusion that the image I had was bad and downloaded 
a new one.

Not sure what to tell you if you've already tried that then.
