[Review Requested] Database Server Role
by Stephen Gallagher
I've put together what I hope are the final set of patches we need for
the Database Server Role in Fedora 22 Beta. There are three of them,
reviewable at http://reviewboard-fedoraserver.rhcloud.com/dashboard/
The first implements multiple-instance support for databases. It does
this by tying all of the instances together with systemd so that they
start or stop together.
The second makes a minor change to the mandatory options, allowing the
consumer to simply skip choosing a name for the database owner.
The last implements the decommissioning step.
I'd appreciate a review as soon as possible so I can make any needed
changes before the Beta Freeze (so really, I only have next week to do
so).
Thanks in advance.
p.s. If anyone is wants to help with the review and is unfamiliar with
Review Board, have a look at
https://www.reviewboard.org/docs/manual/2.0/users/reviews/reviewing-diffs/
(and don't forget to "Publish" your review, otherwise I'll never see
it).

Call for Agenda for Server SIG weekly meeting (2015-03-17)
by Stephen Gallagher
Once again, I'm late with the call for agenda. Sorry folks.
The only thing I think we had on the agenda this week was a check-in
on the testing of Beta TC1 over the last week. Some of the QA folks
ran through the tests[1] and it looks like it's in good shape.
If there's nothing else for the agenda, we can skip this week. Input
welcome.

Docker installed by default due to cockpit dependency chain
by Václav Pavlín
Hi,
I am not sure if that was intentional or not but to be sure, I'd like to
bring up this dependency "issue":
We've tried to install minimal Fedora with KS where in %packages was
just @core. This installed
fedora-release-server -> cockpit -> cockpit-docker -> docker(-io)
I understand why Cockpit is installed by default but I don't think
docker should be part of such minimal install..
My proposal would be to change the dependency so that
fedora-release-server
Requires: cockpit
docker-io
Requires: cockpit-docker
This would mean non-existent Containers page in Cockpit in minimal
install which would magically appear when the user installs docker.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Vašek
