Greetings.
At flock recently and at todays meeting we discussed plans moving forward.
https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting-2/2016-08-09/server_working...
The first of those is to check our membership and make sure everyone is still wanting to be involved. We have currently 1 open seat, but others may wish to bow out now if they don't have time or desire.
So, could all existing Server working group members chime in on list if they are interested in staying in the group or giving up their seat?
We will give two weeks (until the 2016-08-23 meeting) and then look to fill empty seats with interested parties. Once the seats are filled we will look at setting a new meeting time.
Sgallagh is going to try and clean up and present on list a new PRD for us to review over the next week. Members can use that discussion to see if they are still wishing to participate.

I have plenty of desire, but I'm often interrupted by my work at the office whenever I try to get involved. I have a critical meeting at work that conflicts with our existing meeting time.
With that said, I should vacate my seat on the working group so that someone with more free time can join up and make an impact.

Many people are interested in changing the regular meeting time so it doesn't conflict with the Modularity WG (And the ARM meeting, too!). The plan is that once we know who is interested to find a better meeting time.

I have desire but unfortunately have run out of time.
However, Dominik Perpeet, is interested and eager to step up to the task, and work to make the new modular Fedora Server something usable ind integrated. In fact he gave a talk at Flock related to this.
He's been involved in Cockpit, and has worked across projects to solve end to end use cases, including making troubleshooting for SELinux work well on servers.
Stef
Indeed, I would love to become more involved in making Fedora Server even better!
I work on Cockpit mostly, but that work connects me with quite a few people and has brought me in touch with many parts of Fedora. Some of my key interests are design driven approach, integration of all the moving parts and automation (essential to survival in a distributed/modular world with finite resources).

I would like to remain in the group as well, provided that we can move the meeting time to something that works better for everyone (and myself).

I'm interested in attending meetings and becoming more active w/the working group. When are the meetings? The wiki says Wed at 11am in the body, but Tues at 11am in the heading.

Currently they are on Tuesdays at 11am EDT (And they track US daylight-savings changes). However, we are right now in the middle of selecting a new time, so by this time next week, a new time will have been selected.
(Looking at the WhenIsGood responses, the most likely outcome is that the meeting time will be moving to Mondays at 3pm EDT, but not all of the WG members have yet replied).

Can we update both parts of the wiki once we've picked a new time? :)

What's life without a little mystery? ;-)
Yeah, I'll make sure that's fixed.
Hi - I'm not a seated member of the working group but I am interested in contributing to the project if the meeting time gets changed. So I am expressing my support for a time change of the meetings.
I know the proposal to change the time is on another mail thread, however is the invitation to propose a new time only for listed working group members?

Anyone is welcome to respond and provide preferences for the time, however in the event where no common time is available, we will prioritize WG members' schedules first.
Also, please everyone be aware that the meeting time is really just meant to be a guaranteed time to get together to make tough decisions. This mailing list and the #fedora-server IRC channel on Freenode are available full-time.
Even if you cannot make the selected meeting time, we strive to have all of the important conversations on the mailing list first so that we don't make decisions in a vacuum.

BCCing the members who haven't yet responded directly and reminding them that silence will be considered a decision to step down as of 2016-08-23 11:00 EDT.

I apologize for not responding to this in the timeframe allotted. I have just gone through a major life transition and have been offline since mid-August.
I enjoyed being part of the Server WG, but my new job will not allow me to attend any meetings during the normal (U.S. Eastern Time) working hours. Thus, I feel I should willingly give up my seat to someone that can participate in real-time discussions and provide fully informed votes. I will remain as active as possible in the off hours.
