Driver for RTL8192su chipset

Hi I have a usb wifi dongle which uses the
RTL8192su chipset.

I found the following drivers in the current kernel:

None of these drivers supports the RTL8192su chipset.

I found the URL:
https://github.com/chunkeey/rtl8192su

but they want you to use their git wireless kernel source to build the 
driver:
"...Currently, only kernels built from the latest wireless-testing.git 
are supported...."

The driver from
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PFid=...

does not compile as it was made for a much older kernel.

Wondering is anyone has a working driver for fc20  for this chipset.

    Building the driver

just use the Makefile:

|make|

and then

|make load|

to load the module.

Of course, to run
make load
I su'ed to root.

After that, I plugged the dongle in, and kernel
recognized it's insertion, but driver remains
oblivious of it.

Seems to suggest this was added from a non-standard source.

 I think the point here is that support is coming (in the 3.17 kernel),
but it is not here yet.  I had the same problem with my RTL WiFi dongle
when I was running FC14.  It didn't get builtin kernel support until
FC16....  (yes, I've forgotten what the actual kernel numbers were back
then)

But still it does not detect my fry's FR-300 USB dongle.

I am not going to go through the git kernel sources because I do not 
know what I will  end up with
as far other parts of the kernel. They state clearly that the driver 
that has been patched to work
with this dongle must be built on the git kernel source.

Guess I have to wait until fedora 30? :) :)

Description:
		Writing a device ID to this file will attempt to
		dynamically add a new device ID to a USB device driver.
		This may allow the driver to support more hardware than
		was included in the driver's static device ID support
		table at compile time. The format for the device ID is:
		idVendor idProduct bInterfaceClass RefIdVendor RefIdProduct
		The vendor ID and device ID fields are required, the
		rest is optional. The Ref* tuple can be used to tell the
		driver to use the same driver_data for the new device as
		it is used for the reference device.
		Upon successfully adding an ID, the driver will probe
		for the device and attempt to bind to it.  For example:
