Thanks. I had seen that. Looks like I will have to use both "notify-send" (for
the GUI user)
and also "wall" to notify users logged in on a text console or via ssh
sessions.
I guess this is progress, but it sure was nice when things like "shutdown"
"Just Worked(TM)".
