Bringing up browser automatically?

I seem to have lost one thing in going to Fedora-8.
Under Fedora-7 when I highlighted an URL,
eg while using vi,
it automatically brought up a list of browsers.
This no longer happens in F-8.

I'm sure there is something I've forgotten to do,
but what is it?

If you're using KDE, Klipper (the KDE clipboard manager) will do this 
automatically if you enable Actions.

I am indeed using KDE.
