suspend button stopped working with kernel 2.6.23.1-10.fc7

Hi,

is it just my T60p or did other laptop users experience this problem?

Starting suspend from the menu still works, so it's not a big problem.

I wasn't going to worry about this, because my RPM database got hosed
thoroughly, so I was looking at reinstalling everything on my T41.

I don't use the suspend button, but I do have it set not to suspend or
hibernate when I close the lid on AC power.

At about the last round of updates, it started suspending every time I
close the lid.

So just another data point there, but I thought I'd mention it as we
both seemed to experience suspend issues with the last update on our
Thinkpads.

Also have a suspend problem on my Dell laptop Inspiron 1501 when upgraded to
2.6.23.1-10.fc7  [2.6.22.9-91.fc7 worked OK except I had to always restart the wireless
network.]  I suspend OK, but when I wake it up the display will not sync up. Just a torn
up screen of colors. Some key actions allow the screen to sync up for a fraction of a
second, but it  instantly tears up again. Returned to previous version and it works as
before so pretty sure it was the kernel upgrade that got me.

I've had a similar experience with my Dell XPS 1210, except on wake up I 
had a blank screen.  Switching to virtual terminals didn't bring back 
the display.  I've reverted to 2.6.22.9-91.fc7 and so far no issues.

Also note that I'm using the NVIDIA drivers, version 100.14.19.

The 2.6.23.1-21.fc7 kernel also seems to have the same wakeup issue for 
me.  Additional info:  I cannot ping nor ssh into the laptop upon 
"wakeup".  Back to the 2.6.22.9-91.fc7 kernel...
