fedora - booting up without a monitor

hi..

it appears that FC3 doens't boot without a monitor. i've seen some
sites/posts that indicate if you add 'vga=0' to the boot command line, it
should resolve the isuue. my question, where is the boot command liine, and
how can i find it. i assume there's a file that i can edit to add this
line...

any pointers?

Bruce,

1) when booting, edit the kernel line and add your parameter
or, 
2) edit /etc/grub.conf and add the parameter to the kernel line

tried it...

didn't work.

the issue i'm seeing seems to point directly to the system not booting up if
the monitor is not attached!!!!

i plug the monitor in.. the server boots.. i unplug the monitor.. the server
stops/hangs during the boot process...

hi...

for all who may run in to this issue.

in the /etc/grub.conf file, i was able to add a line before the display...
vga=0

and it seemed to work.

i can now run FC3 without a monitor and with no problems.

Is there a line that I can add so that I can boot without a keyboard
and mouse? So that I could boot the system without switching the kvm
to the fedora box? Of course, the monitor, keyboard, and mouse would
be expected to work when I switch the kvm back to fedora.

    Without a monitor attached, or without a video card installed?  I 
have several FC3 machines that don't have a monitor on them that boot up 
just fine (they all have a video card though.)
