Boot stalls at enable swap space

Hi there,
I have just done a fresh install of FC3 on a 20gig drive,
After playing with it for a couple of days, I did a cold reboot, now the
machine stalls during boot for about a minute at enable swap space.

Any idea what is causing this???

Well. is there swap space?? or is it initialised as swap?? mkswap??
what about your fstab file?? does it show/list the swap area??
