Can you please clarify your statememt.
What do you mean by "the socket.io checkout directory"
The directory created when you ran `git clone
git://github.com/learnboost/socket.io`
How will "npm install" know what is required?
"Magic". (Or, more specifically, it will parse package.json and install
whatever
it needs to)
