Hi there. Sounds a lot like infamous Intel GPU Hang issue [0]. As per comments there,
5.4.11 kernel (now in testing [1]) by Fedora should have a fix. However 5.4.12 kernel
which is also in testing [2] seems to still report GPU Hangs :(

Hi,
Am I the only one who's laptop hangs badly after coming out of suspend mode?
I type my password to unlock the screen but unlocking doesn't help
(maybe pam isn't working by then) and at some point the screen just
freezes. I was able once to move to a different tty and saw a lot of
kernel errors coming in.
This happened with 5.4.7 and 5.4.10.
Now I went back to good old 5.3.16 which works great with my HP laptop.
Anyone else had this problem?
Cheers,
