Start another X server

I want to start another X server i.e on display :1. How does one may do it??

If you are using KDE, you can go Start Button | Switch User | Start new 
session

Otherwise

startx -- :1

might do it.

X :1

Then you can switch to it usually by Ctrl-Alt-F8 and Ctrl-Alt-F7 back.
