Hmm, that alone didn't do the trick as / has to be mounted in order to
read /etc/fstab
but READONLY, that is what the ro is for
However I found out about an "fastboot" kernel option which
seems to
work well in combination with your suggestion.
fastboot disables ANY filesystem-check for any partition
have fun after a crash / power fail if continue working
without fixing problems at boot
