Boomerang 3COM cards and Kudzu

I would like to take a survey of how many users on this list couldn't 
get there boomerang 3COM card to work in Fedora Core 1. The work around 
was to disable Kudzu. See

Perhaps this is old hat but I just installed Fedora today and noticed 
this peculiar behavior.

I gave mine away to someone that is using RH8 or RH9. Since he is going 
to school for computer science, I hope he can contribute to getting this 
card working.

Does anyone have clearcase running under fedora?

(yes, I know it's commercial and that it would be unsupported, thank you.)

Yes, but I use the Linux kernel form RedHat 9.0...

IBM/Rational only promises to provide support 90 days after a release,
and even then, they are providing support for RedHat Linux, not for
Fedora. I am not expecting it to work with Fedora any time soon.
