You have more than one kernel installed, that's why. Just choose one of
them (preferably the topmost, as it's the latest) and go with it.
It is like a failsafe. IF say for some unforeseen reason a kernel update
screws things up, then you can easily revert back to an older version at
boot time. On my desktop I keep 5 different kernel versions. (disk space
is cheap these days ;) )
