[GNOME Outreach Program] Applicant Contribution
by Joelle Fleurantin
Hello,
My name is Joelle, a grad student living in New York. I am applying to
GNOME's Outreach Program for Women for the first time and definitely want
to contribute to Fedora. However, I am unfamiliar with the contribution
process. I am interested in the web development opportunities within the *fuzz
zeromq, fedora packages, fedora packages *projects.
Where and how should I start reading through the bug list? Is there a
specific patch or item I should look for and complete as part of my
application?
Thank you for your time!
Best,
Joelle F.

There is no easy way to know when our next Fedora will be released.
People should look for the right wiki page, and there could be frequent
updates.
I propose to design a simple page containing the main schedules (Alpha,
Beta and GA releases).
The data would be taken from the online official schedule (parsing as XML
I think). This would be shared by ou main fpo websites (for the countdown
banner..)
The content would be in fpo/get-prerelease and on a secondary page like
schedule.fpo? or just fpo/schedule?

Request for List of Applications in you Distro
by Linux_Apps_list
Hi, I am currently building a Website that lists all the Software
Applications that come with any fresh Distro of Linux, primarily those
which can be assessed via the Menus on the Graphical User Interface.
So if possible, I would like you to send me a list of Applications that
come precompiled with any flavour of your Distro and the Menus they be
assessed by.
So for Example: If your Distro was built on;
Arch Linux and used the KDE Desktop Enviroment
Under Menu Multimedia may be Application VLC and
Under Menu Graphics may be Application GIMP
Or if the Distro was built on;
Debian and used the Gnome Desktop Enviroment
Under Menu Internet may be Firefox and
Under Menu Office may be LibreOffice Writer
I would also greatly appreciate it if you could send me updated lists when
you update your Distros.
I'll include your Logo and a link to your Website when it is ready.
Thanks for reading this.

range based voting
by ben van 't ende
Heyla,
I am community manager for the TYPO3 project. We are investigating the use of
range based voting in our project. I have understood you have used that in your
project. Is my info correct? And if so, how have you used it?
Kind Regards, Ben

Bottom picture on fedoraproject.org (Hulk)
by linux
Welcome!
Remove, please, with your site, the lower image with the Hulk. It is
very annoying. This picture is more associated with shizofreniс than
with film characters. Your site like a solid, but the bottom photo,
damaged the image of the site. Those who have not yet decided on the
choice of Linux distributions in the form of the Hulk can leftyour site,
and you can lose potential user of your OS.
Thanks!

Fedora Accounts System
by Glenn Johnson
Greetings. I've forgotten my password to the Fedora Accounts System web
site. I've tried resetting the password several times. Each time I've done
this the system tells me the reset was successful but then when I try to
log in it fails. How can I address this issue?

When accessing the review status pages over HTTPS with modern versions of
Firefox and Chrome, they fail to display properly since the review status
templates hardcode links to insecure HTTP in several places. This fixes
those links to use HTTPS everywhere.
