Topic discussed in translation mailing list - there are strings in Fedoracommunity.org that cannot be loaded in Zanata due to genshi mistakes in the web source code and thanks that can't be translated.
Please fix those mistakes to allow the scripts an upload of the strings to Zanata.
Thank you
Z.

We had this functionality on transifex and it was easy to set up. Now on zanata we have much more languages, but most of them son't have more than 5-10% translated strings. We should recreate our script which doesn't show languages if they are not translated for at least 25%.

Translated message "Choose Freedom. Choose Fedora" in Greek use different font family than the rest Greek text and English text in this page. Result is not aesthetically good. Look at the image:

The Fedora council has approved IoT as an official Objective with the Forth Edition eventually being part of the key deliverables via a working group. I believe with IoT being such a broad topic we'll need a IoT landing page, @mattdm will likely have some further thoughts on this. So something like iot.fpo.org with various details of what we offer etc.
The official edition won't land until F-29 (maybe later) but it would be good to get something before that so we can start to educate people as it evolves. This is a tracker for some of those details.

I'm very surprised I cannot find search button on the wiki pages to serach through the wiki content:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Container:Guidelines (just a random page, same case on others)
Is this a deliberate change? Or am I blind and just not see it?

The banner text on https://getfedora.org/en/workstation/download/ says "Install via DNF" if you are already on Fedora.
For the workstation, we would prefer if the was pointing to a page explaining graphical system upgrades as supported in GNOME Software, instead of the commandline method.
I also think it would be clearer if the link text said "upgrade" instead of "install".

Step 1 says "Download the Fedora Media Writer app below."
For Linux users, there is no description of how to get that program.
For Fedora "sudo dnf install mediawriter" should work. Sadly, the F27 version defaults to burning F26 onto the stick.
For Linux, a simple old-school dd should work (it always has). But that is a bit hard-core. And various arcane flags significantly improve performance. Furthermore, specifying the wrong disk could be disastrous. Here's my best guess (not checked!). How do you explain what ??? should be?
sudo dd if=Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-28_Beta-1.3.iso of=/dev/??? bs=1M oflag=direct
There's also the issue of making sure that the stick is neither mounted nor ejected before the dd.
Summary:
- the description is misleading for Linux users
- the correct way for users of Linux other than Fedora is too difficult and dangerous.
