Hi,

A) You meant 2gig, not 4gig, and
B) it's more useful to tell us how to get the DVD ISO, rather than
"refer to doc". For instance - the "FTP" client in Win XP's
"cmd"
environment works OK (providing you use NTFS - FAT32 can't do >2g). If
there's some other way besides HTTP/FTP, which you hint at, please
tell us. If you know linux ways to get the files, please tell us how.
I know "scp" always works to move these things around once you've got
them, FYI.
C) Another warning you should give: Other things that can't "do" >2g
include most apache web servers, many other web servers (some will not
let you download the file, others won't even show you it's there, while
still others will bomb out when you hit the 2g boundary), and most NFS
and Samba network shares (which usually either hide the file, or bomb
out at 2g, usually leaving you with a corrupted target)

Chris Drake
Thank you for your tips. I will look into how we can apply these ideas with
our upcoming updates to that section, and to its
fedora.redhat.com
counterpart.
