Forbidden items

In fedora site there is written forbidden items.i want  to know the
software that are in forbidden items is forbidden? or not?
like as nvidia driver.
i have nvidia vga card may i download or use fedora?
and any other programs that are in forbidden list can be use or not?

You can freely use Fedora, there are no legal limitations imposed by the
Project on what programs can you run on your computer.
The forbidden item list is a list of items that can't be included in the
Fedora distribution, but you can install them from 3rd party repositories
such as rpmfusion.

Hi,

All forbidden items can't be included by default under Fedora. But, one
can decide to install them later on.

For example, the Nvidia drivers are not Open Source, we can't include them
and we don't want to. But the Open Source community has developped an Open
Source driver for the Nvidia graphic cards. They called it "Nouveau", and
it's included by default under Fedora. Try it out, it will work.
Some users are not happy with Nouveau as it does not lower the speed of
every card (then the fan run faster, it's noisy) and they choose to
install the proprietary one through the rpmfusion.org repositories.

If they are forbidden, it's because we want to protect the user and move
