I don't think the max-rpm copy in
cvs.rpm.org actually contains
much version
information (it was just imported and left there, right? or am I wrong and
was it developed using CVS all along?). So if you want to start collaborative

Probably don't loose that much detail cf the rpm tree.
max-rpm development right away, I'd really like to import the
current version
into that SVN repository. If later on there is a different, more "official"
wrt rpm SVN repository, it'll be trivial to move the project over while
preserving all the version information. What do you think?
Well it'd be nice to keep things all together wrt rpm development. At the
moment the focus is at
colug.net http://rpm-devel.colug.net, and I think rather
than have to move accounts, etc at a later date I can setup subversion for
maximum rpm there. Poke me off list for an account, or if you do irc I'm on
#rpm.
The repository is here :
https://svn.rpmforge.net/
Thanks for the offer, normally I would just have set up with that, but we've
just had the discussion about moving all of rpm to subversion so it'd make
sense to get this underway on colug. Hopefully do today/this weekend.
