During the last SIG meeting, I promised to review the "Server
Adminstration" page[1] of our docuementation. This is that.
In the "Post Installation security enhancements" section, the system
manager is invited to enable root login via ssh. I would really prefer
that this be marked as optional since some people might prefer to
leave this disabled and have only regular users ssh in.
In the list of optional procedures, I would move the "Installing
fail2ban..." one to the end of the list since I find it less important
than the other two procedures currently in the list. I would then
put "Install and Configure Logwatch" at the end of the list behind it.
A link to the "Server Post installation tasks" page[2] of the
documentation would also be nice here.
