Seems that whomever released this distro should throw away the iso cds and create a BRAND NEW ONE. This distro is very very very hosed and buggy. There are NO RECOVERY PATHs that I can find and I have wasted too much time already trying to fix what is very broken.
Hi Daniel, Don't get too upset :) You said you finished installed it in text mode: 2) Did Text-based installation and installed everything and hoped that I can somehow fix the X11/GUI later:
Then you can update FC4 using yum as root in the console, type: yum check-update You'll see the upgradable packages, Then you can select the packages you want to update (in this case X11 related): yum update packagename1 packagename2
