Does Gnome cache the rpm's of a software install, update? If so what is the path? I normally use dnf and create a repo to use on other machines.
I found a few in /var/cache/PackageKit/<fedora release> but not a lot. I doubt they're kept long.
Looking at /etc/PackageKit/PackageKit.conf it has #KeepCache=false and differs to a more general configuration implying that the default is KeepCache=True. Don't find anything in /var/cache/PackageKit/ except the files for the repos.
"differs"? Did you mean "defers"? There is no more general configuration. What do you think is implying that the default is true? Usually, the commented config options *are* the default ones.
