Hello all!
I've installed the LXDE spin. But now I want to use KDM instead LightDM, because I find it more configurable. The thing is that I've installed KDM but I can't find with what tool I will set it properly. In previous versions, it was with System Settings, but now I can't find it to install it and can't figure out what to do.
Somebody would help me? How I configure KDM? How can I use it instead of LightDM?
Thanks to all very much, Lailah

you have to install system-switch-displaymanager $ sudo yum install system-switch-displaymanager then $ sudo system-switch-displaymanager kdm

Manual configuration => /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc GUI: kcmshell4 kdm
(may need to install kde-runtime to use kcmshell4)
-- rex

F18 uses systemd to start the login screen now instead of the old prefdm code. Switching from GDM to KDM for me was via:
systemctl disable gdm.service systemctl enable kdm.service
So something like that will probably do the same for you (but I don't know the exact name of the service to disable for LightDM).
systemctl --full list-unit-files | grep enabled
would probably give you a clue.

How does one switch the display manager to slim (in F18)? slim is apparently not supported yet using the above.
