I'm jealous - only getting 200 to 210KB/sec on mine... <smile>
I'll let you know when I'm done. The class I'm teaching this weekend is starting into the samba modules this weekend and I promised them we would install Severn2. They are chomping at the bit for this. My CD burner will be busy the next couple of days...
Just to confirm, the ISOs are the same name as before, but the sizes are different and the date of the files is 9/24/2003 - right?
Cheers,
Chris

To be sure always check the md5 sums
After you've checked the gpg signature on the MD5SUM file.
For people in the UK, I'm getting a good download from ftp://zeniiia.linux.org.uk Files are dated 24/09/03
The mirror.ac.uk site still had the directory locked when I checked at 9am this morning.

Now be really jealous! I gave up on bittorrent. I found a mirror in the UK that is giving me 347KB/S. And I have never downloaded at that speed before. I'm not even in the UK. I'm in the US.

The thing with bittorrent is that you need a number of people using it to get benefits, and you get better d/l rates when uploading. Usually a bittorrent download starts rather slowly and speed increases later on.
Regarding your earlier question: it is uploading segments you already have to other bittorrent users. Go and read how bittorrent works (http://www.bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/).
