The Fedora FAQ (in the wiki front page) has a reference to the general schedule outlined at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/LifeCycle
The specific dates are linked to the EOL wiki page referenced from there.
Hope that helps

Yes, thanks.
Is the wiki search a little wonky? I searched for EOL which got no hits. I searched for End of Life. The Life Cycle page was #49 on the list which I would never have found if I didn't already know what I was looking for.

Yeah, the wiki search is known to be less than useful. Google likely can provide better answers. EOL site:fedoraproject.org/wiki, for example, yields the right page as the first result.

It's very simple to create pages that redirect to the given page properly. See what happens when you type "EOL" into the Fedora wiki search box now.
I also rearranged the titles of the canonical page to be more searchable. This is the kind of task that is very simple for anyone to accomplish and contributes a lot to the usefulness of the wiki. I encourage people to get involved to help solve problems wherever possible!

Nice. I did not know that mediawiki trick worked so well to improve searches.

You've got a good sales pitch there Paul. Someone should hire you for some sort of leadership position in Fedora. ;)

Weird, this must be a caching proxy thing. When I type "EOL" into the search box on the wiki, it takes me right to the new "End of life" page. Also possible it's a browser cache thing, so try emptying yours if you want to test it again.

Use the link at the top to create an account. The username and password there is the same one you can use to login on the wiki and edit pages.
There is a fedora-docs-list to help get you started. We also have a fedora-wiki list but so far that's been more about hashing out wiki policy. Very low traffic though.

No. I cleared the browser cache and stied againbut still no hits. Is there a specific namespace that needs to be checked?

Nope, it's just the Main namespace which is searched by default unless you changed your wiki preferences to specifically exclude it.

MediaWiki also has a server-side cache which tends to be stale. Try using https instead of http, normally it's less aggressive with caching in that case.

Are you clicking the Search or Go button? If I enter eol (or EOL) in the search box and hit enter or click Go, I am taken to the right page. If I click search, I get no hits.

Hmmm... So if the Go button searches, then What (TF!) does the Search button do!?

Oddly enough, it just takes you to a page title matching whatever the term in the field is. It is also the default action for the [Enter] key.
then What (TF!) does the Search button do!?
The search really prefers natural language terminology, but that still should have turned up in a title search. The title search doesn't seem to be happening, although it was part of the default search before. We just had a wiki upgrade, possibly the default search pattern wasn't kept. I'll look in to that, having titles searched by default seemed fairly useful.

Seems that trouble with short search terms is a bug in our running version of MediaWiki. Ideally, we'll see an upgrade there within the next few weeks and 'EOL' etc. as search terms should work.
