Greetings;
I had forgotten cuz I haven't ran it in a spell, but ktorrent's screen is about 3 feet tall. I can alt+lmb and drag it so I can see the bottom, but grabbing the bottom with the mouse to raise it back up doesn't work. I've even edited the ktorrentrc file without changing this.
Is this a known bug? Their bugzilla needs an account and password, which makes reporting a bug difficult if not impossible since I didn't paint it on the wall 5 years ago. I am also subscribed to their kde mailing list and get several msgs a day, but my posts just bounce cuz I'm not subscribed.
Hints please.
Thanks.

Gene, Have you checked the kde bugzilla and mailing list sites for their "get a password reminder" options?
for example if you go to https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list scroll to the bottom and put your (subscription) email address in the box next to the "Unsubscribe or edit options" and press that button, you will be taken to a page that has a "Remind" button on it which will cause a password reminder to be sent to your subscription address. Used it just yesterday don't you know. :) Hope this helps.

Finally. I also browsed the buglist, and the complaint seems to be common, in that most any plugin triggers it. Without any plugins, I can resize it quite small.
This is 2.2.7, and one would think that since its existed for several versions, that it would be fixed by now. Typical KDE though, don't fix bugs, just go on to the next bit of eye candy. But still better than un-configurable the gnome/nagger.

before delving into your problems, what versions are you using? also, what *theme* and *style* are you using, as i use 'kde classic' in both.
it is possible you may have to change your 'control center' settings. - --

ktorrent is 2.2.7, kde is 3.5.10

kde classic theme, hi-color classic style. I adjusted it some, but no effect on this that I could see.

ok, 'control center > desktop > window behavior > moving', '[]allow moving and resizing of maximized windows' = un checked. 'placement: smart'
open 'ktorrent', note 'sizing' icon in upper left. if it is a *double square*, click it to a *single square*. cursor to a corner, when pointer changes to *diagonal double point*, left click and drag inward. close 'ktorrent', then reopen to see what happens. if cured, never close with window 'maximized'.
