Not sure what it wants from SMB1 or why whatever it is is disabled? I probably need to
enter something for that but do not have any Windows to deal with here ...

What is is Sharename=bobg.
So, on WS1 the command would be....
mount -o uid=bobg,credentials=/home/bobg/cred //192.168.50.149/bobg /media/smb
