Well, so far no desktop snapshot popping up, but Libre Office Writer is
behaving terribly in how it displays hints. Basically I have to ignore
the screen as I type with each hint causing a screen refresh. So bug
report really in order.

So far so good with turning this off.
I will monitor it for a while and submit a bug in a couple days. Got
two work crews coming tomorrow for some needed house repair...
