Well, the behavior of the tabs is expected in FF and wayland. I've not see any
issues with dropdowns.

A workaround for the issues would be one of the following....
1. Change to running GNOME on Xorg at login
2. Continue to run GNOME (wayland) but add "export MOZ_DISABLE_WAYLAND=1" to
your .bashrc
(logout/login needed to take affect)
I put this sort of thing in .bash_profile so it is only done once at login and that works
for KDE, does that not work for Gnome?
