did you install the wireless via rpms?
I had not. But now I do.
do you have the kernel module for the .770 kernel?
try rpm -qa | grep ipw2200
to see what ya got
ipw2200-firmware-2.2-2.1.fc3.fr
Now the message is slightly different.
Mar 10 10:59:50 antoy kernel: ipw2200: ipw2200_ucode.fw load failed
Mar 10 10:59:54 antoy kernel: ipw2200: Unable to load firmware: 0xFFFFFFFE
Mar 10 10:59:55 antoy kernel: ipw2200: failed to register network device
Mar 10 10:59:55 antoy kernel: ipw2200: probe of 0000:02:0b.0 failed with error -5
The command lsmod shows
ipw2200 62029 0
ieee80211 19525 1 ipw2200
ieee80211_crypt 6725 1 ieee80211
