Really bad idea, especially if you've been away for a while. You should install Fedora 30. In case you're not up to speed on Fedora, it's worth noting that new releases come every 6 months and after the release of version N, version N-2 reaches end of life and receives no further support, not even critical security updates. So be prepared to update at least once a year.
