Ok, you should really do the following:
yum remove *-nvidia* reboot
After that, go to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia
and read the very first paragraph of the article, nothing more. Just the first paragraph. Or just the last two sentences of the first paragraph. Or better yet, here, let me quote them to you:
